2025 All-Star Campaign: Driving Fan Engagement and Player Promotion
Role: Lead Designer
Scope: Digital Graphics | Player Poster Design | In-Stadium Collateral
Year: 2025
Client: Athletics (MLB)
The 2025 MLB All-Star Game was hosted in Atlanta, and the Athletics needed a campaign that energized the fan base to vote and promoted players for the high-profile event.
I led the visual direction and design for the campaign, drawing inspiration from Atlanta’s vibrant street art scene. The designs included layered textures, graffiti-inspired typography, and dynamic player photography that gave a nod to the host city while maintaining brand consistency with the A's. Deliverables included digital graphics for web and social media, as well as individual and group poster designs used as collectible in-stadium giveaways to drum up fan excitement.
The posters were a hit with attendees and contributed to a strong turnout in fan voting, leading to rookie Jacob Wilson being elected the American League starting shortstop by fan vote, the first Athletic to start an All-Star Game since Josh Donaldson in 2014.
